Arts Integration

Our school’s arts-integrated curriculum is the result of a collaborative approach to planning that involves classroom teachers and the arts specialist team.  LFCSA has adopted the Kennedy Center’s comprehensive arts integration definition.
“Arts integration is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. Students engage in a creative process which connects an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both.”
